How this works

Every restaurant page leads with one sentence: the status, the date we checked it, and the source that claim rests on. Each carries a confidence label — verified, reported, automated or unverified — so you can see the difference between "the owner announced it" and "a listing says so." We never publish a bare, undated "closed."
