On the 'Ultimate Turkey Fest' compilation special, Guy Fieri stopped at Bocadillos, an Albuquerque sandwich counter branded 'Slow Roasted' for its slow-cooked meats pressed into Cuban-style sandwiches. The shop, opened by chef Marie Yniguez, later moved its downtown counter into the ground floor of the former Wells Fargo building at 200 Lomas Blvd NW. According to a November 2022 Yahoo News report, Yniguez posted a social media video on October 30, 2022, telling customers the downtown location would not reopen, citing high meat costs and reduced foot traffic after the building sat largely empty. An Albuquerque Journal retrospective published September 24, 2025 confirmed the downtown Bocadillos never reopened and that Yniguez later revived the concept as a food truck, SRB Sangwich Shop, at Marble Brewery. No dated evidence of a Bocadillos storefront operating past 2022 was found.
