In December 2022, according to Boulder Reporting Lab, the restaurant announced it would close temporarily for a rebrand. It reopened in February 2023, according to Denver Westword, as Pizzeria Alberico, a full-service Italian restaurant with an expanded wine, cocktail, and amaro program. Westword reported the new name draws on the maiden name of co-owner Bobby Stuckey's wife, Dannette, and nods to Naples. A 2026-09-08 check of pizzeriaalberico.com listed current hours, menus, and takeout ordering for the Boulder address under the Frasca family of restaurants.
