Squeal Bar-B-Q appeared in the 2015-05-29 episode of You Gotta Eat Here! (season 4, episode 18), which TheTVDB's listing describes as a New Orleans-style barbecue joint. According to the restaurant's menu page on SinglePlatform, which carries no date, it opened in early November 2008 on Oak Street at Cambronne in uptown New Orleans, offering pulled pork, beef brisket, St. Louis ribs, barbecue tacos and pork grillades over grits. New Orleans Magazine reported on 2009-03-02 that three Metairie brothers created the restaurant at 8400 Oak St., in the Riverbend area, and that it served lunch and dinner seven days a week. A Google Maps listing for Squeal Barbeque at 8400 Oak St, viewed on 2026-10-19, marks the business as permanently closed. No dated news report of the closing was found.
