What happened after You Gotta Eat Here!?
The Baowry was a restaurant in a renovated house in Portland, Oregon, and appeared in season 4, episode 6 of You Gotta Eat Here!, which aired on 2015-03-06 as "The Club House, The Baowry, 2 Doors Down." TVmaze's episode summary (read 2026-10-19) says the house served steamed buns, noodles, and banh mi, the Vietnamese-style sandwich. A Google Maps listing viewed 2026-10-19 places the restaurant at 8307 N Ivanhoe Street in Portland's St. Johns area and marks it permanently closed. The website field on that listing is a Facebook page under the name baowrystjohns, and it returned only an error page when checked on 2026-10-19.
A web search run on 2026-10-19 turned up no owner announcement or news report about the closure, so the listing is the only dated source found. The listing's update date is not a closure date, and no closing month or year is reported by any source read.
