What happened after Bar Rescue?

Cashmere was a long struggling nightclub on Raleigh, North Carolina's Glenwood Avenue strip, where a party-first management style let an assistant manager refill premium liquor bottles with cheaper alcohol and let staff drinking and infighting go unchecked heading into "Don't Judge a Booze by Its Bottle." Jon Taffer's team found a business trading on its Glenwood South nightlife location without enough operational discipline to keep pace with the area's competition: undisciplined pouring, weak inventory control, and a staff more focused on the scene than the guests.

The rescue team retrained bartenders on portion control and inventory tracking, refreshed the interior, and rebranded the club with a stylized name pairing "Dual" and "Duel" -- rendered as Duael Ultra Nightclub -- for its relaunch, which Raleigh TV station WRAL covered as the club reopened under Jon Taffer's new branding.

The new identity did not last long. The nightclub's owner sold the Glenwood Avenue building in 2014 and exited the bar business entirely; the tracker site Bar Rescue Updates reported in July 2014 that the Cashmere/Duael Ultra Nightclub business had closed that May as a result of the sale.
