What happened after You Gotta Eat Here!?

The July 10, 2015 episode of You Gotta Eat Here! ('Creemore Kitchen, Hogtown Smoke, Kooky Canuck') featured smoked barbecue as the lunch special at a Toronto restaurant, according to TVmaze's episode listing. BlogTO's November 2015 list of the city's top barbecue spots by neighbourhood placed Hogtown Smoke in Kensington Market and pointed to smoked chicken, wings, brisket and ribs, plus a burnt-ends sandwich. BlogTO reported in April 2022 that the company's Kensington Market location was closed, with for-lease signs in the windows, and that the company also had a Stoney Creek location open.

The sources read did not give a street address for the Kensington Market restaurant, so its coordinates are still pending. A separate barbecue restaurant, Smokeshow BBQ and Brew, operates at 744 Mount Pleasant Road; a Mount Pleasant Village listing says it replaced a former Chick n Deli, and nothing read links it to Hogtown Smoke.
