What happened after You Gotta Eat Here!?
Homestead Ice Cream appeared in the Kids edition of You Gotta Eat Here! (Food Network Canada, host John Catucci), season 5, episode 16, which aired 2016-09-09 under the title “Kids: Homestead Ice Cream; Meet on Main; Tich”. TVmaze's episode listing describes the featured food as homemade ice cream. The shop is at 822 Victoria Ave in Saskatoon, according to both its website and a Google Maps listing checked 2026-10-19, where it appears as Homestead Ice Creams & Novelties. The website, homesteadicecreams.ca, says the shop has been making ice cream in Saskatoon since 1975 and that the ice cream is made in-house with fresh ingredients.
It also has a menu page, a wholesale page and a contact page. A check of the website in October 2026 found a 2026 copyright line and the same street address. The page also carries a line about joining the community, which the sources read do not explain.
