What happened after You Gotta Eat Here!?
Bon Temps Cafe of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, was one of three restaurants in the episode of You Gotta Eat Here! (Food Network Canada) that aired 2016-11-25 under the title "Queen Bee Cafe/Bon Temps Cafe/The Borough." TVmaze's episode listing records the featured food as Cajun cuisine. The restaurant's own website, bontempscafe.ca, described authentic Cajun and Creole food at 223 2nd Avenue South in downtown Saskatoon. When that site was loaded on 2026-10-20, it carried a thank-you message from the owners saying that after 13 years the restaurant would close its doors on July 25; the page text gave no year.
A Google Maps listing, checked 2026-10-19, gives the address as 223 2nd Avenue South, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1K9 and marks the business as permanently closed. The other two businesses in the episode were Queen Bee Cafe and The Borough of Toronto.
