What happened after You Gotta Eat Here!?
The Cannibal Café of Vancouver was one of three restaurants in the episode of You Gotta Eat Here! (Food Network Canada) that aired 2016-11-18 under the title "The Cannibal Café, Baja Café, The Ship." TVmaze's episode listing records the featured dish as a punk rock burger. The Georgia Straight (straight.com) published a feature on the burgers at the Cannibal Café on Commercial Drive and a separate article headlined as the café's closure announcement; the search listings showed no dates for either. A Google Maps listing, checked 2026-10-19, gives 433 Granville Street, Vancouver, BC V6C 1W9 and marks the business as permanently closed. The café's website, cannibalcafe.ca, returned a page-not-found error when loaded on 2026-10-20. The other two businesses in the episode were Baja Café of Tucson and The Ship of Hamilton, Ontario.
