What happened after You Gotta Eat Here!?

The Club in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, was one of three restaurants in the Season 3 episode titled 'The Club; Foo; Tundra Inn & Pub,' which TheTVDB and TVmaze both list with an airdate of 2014-04-25. TVmaze's episode summary says host John Catucci learns the secret behind the restaurant's Newfie Steak, the dish the segment centered on. Google Maps gives the business address as 223 Duckworth Street, St. John's, with the postal code A1C 6N1. A Google Maps listing checked on 2026-10-19 marks The Club at that address as permanently closed, and the listing shows no closure date.

A web search run on 2026-10-19 for the name and address turned up no news coverage, owner announcement or archived menu describing the venue's type, history or ownership, so its founding year and style of service are undocumented in the sources reviewed here. The episode belongs to You Gotta Eat Here!, the Food Network Canada series that ran from 2012 to 2016 and showcased three local restaurants per episode.
