What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
The Pie Hole, run by Jenell Parsons, was featured in the episode "Burger and Breakfast" (aired 2019-05-03), when its Vancouver shop was at 3497 Fraser Street in the Fraserhood. Food Network's restaurant page lists the Raspberry Cream Crumble and the Bacon Cheeseburger Pie as the featured pies. Scout Magazine reported on 2017-03-14 that Parsons was opening that shop in the former Sweetsalt Bakery space after baking in a commissary kitchen since 2011. A New West Record article, which carries no date but mentions a 2020 cookbook, reported that the Fraser Street shop had closed because of redevelopment.
Richmond News reported in April 2024 that a Kitsilano shop opened at 2959 West Broadway on April 21 after the West 4th Avenue shop closed on March 14, and Daily Hive listed Broadway, Burnaby and Langley locations on 2024-09-23. The Pie Hole's website, viewed 2026-10-19, lists the same three addresses.
