What Happened to Aggie Martin After Restaurant Makeover? (Brampton, ON)

Restaurant Makeover (HGTV Canada / Food Network Canada) featured Aggie Martin's, a business in downtown Brampton, Ontario, in an episode that aired on 2008-05-26. According to the Rotten Tomatoes episode description, the space had gone from a boutique to a bakery, and the owners wanted to expand into a full eatery. Wikipedia's Restaurant Makeover table credits chef David Adjey and designer Glen Peloso with the episode, gives the location as Brampton and shows no earlier name. The episode is the 22nd of 26 in the season 4 listing on Rotten Tomatoes. No source that was found describes the changes made to the menu, decor or staffing during the rescue, or how the relaunch went.

For the years since, the sources are a map listing and a lead. A Google Places listing for Aggie Martin Inc. at 15 Main St N in Brampton, retrieved on 2026-10-19, was marked permanently closed. Wikipedia's table lists the business as no longer open and notes that it became Green Cup Roastery. A search for the two names together returned a ZoomInfo page for Green Cup Roastery, which could not be opened, and several unrelated Brampton real-estate and cafe pages. Because no readable page ties Green Cup Roastery to the 15 Main St N address, the Wikipedia note is a lead rather than a confirmed fact, and no opening date or hours for a successor business are given here.

No news article or owner announcement about the end of Aggie Martin's was found, so no date can be given for the change. The Places status reflects the listing as retrieved on 2026-10-19, not the date of any closure. The name on the listing, Aggie Martin Inc., matches the featured name, and Brampton matches the town given for the episode, but the pages that were read do not state the street address of the shop seen on screen, so the match rests on the name and town.
