What happened after Project Bakeover?

Bread 'N Batter, a family-run bakery on Main Street East in Milton, Ontario, was the fourth bakery on Project Bakeover (Food Network Canada). Its episode, "Too Many Cooks," aired 2021-02-25. Wikipedia's episode table credits the new items from pastry chef Steve Hodge as sans rival macarons, a halo-halo biscuit and a pork and roasted pineapple biscuit, and it describes the series as one in which Hodge and designer Tiffany Pratt help struggling bakeries transform their menus and decor. No source read for this entry described the bakery's problems in the episode, the redesign or the relaunch in detail.

Experience Milton, in a bakeries guide published 2022-06-13 (last modified 2024-02-08), described Bread N' Batter as a family-run Filipino bakery at 875 Main St E, Unit 5, known for cupcakes, empanadas and ube mamon, a dessert made with purple yam. The guide noted that the bakery had appeared on Project Bakeover and that it had since added tea, coffee, biscuits and Danishes. FM101 Milton Now reported on 2022-11-07 that residents asked on social media for their favourite local bakeries named Bread 'N Batter, along with La Rose Bakery and Cobs Bread.

The bakery's own website, breadnbatter.ca, carried a 2026 copyright footer when checked on 2026-10-19. It listed menu sections for breads, batters, cakes and cupcakes, empanadas and cookies, offered gift cards that can be bought online, and linked to an online ordering page on Toast. Its "Our Story" page described a mother who began the family bakery from a lifelong passion for baking, a daughter with a culinary background who adds modern twists to the traditional recipes, and a husband who works both in front of house and behind the scenes.

The page credits family recipes and the Filipino concept of kapamilya. A Google Places record retrieved the same day listed Bread 'N Batter at the same Main Street East address as operational. The website carries no dated posts, so the 2026 evidence is limited to the footer and the active ordering links.
