What happened after Restaurant Makeover?
Brooklyn's Bar and Grill, in Burlington, Ontario, was the third episode of Restaurant Makeover's third season and first aired on 2006-10-16. Rotten Tomatoes' episode guide gives it a one-line description as a renovation of the bar and grill. Wikipedia's list of renovated restaurants names David Adjey as the chef and Robin De Groot as the designer.
The most detailed account found comes from the business itself. The page at burlingtonbowl.com/barandgrill.php (site check of 2026-10-19) places Brooklyns Bar & Grill inside Burlington Bowl, which the page's title calls Burlington's largest bowling centre, so the restaurant is part of a bowling alley and not a standalone storefront. The page includes a section headed 'Brooklyns on Restaurant Makeover!' that describes the show's hosts turning the room into a modern, fun 'fresh faced family space.' Its navigation links to a restaurant menu, a group and catering menu and an hours page, alongside pages for league services, group parties and public bowling.
What the room looked like before the work, which problems the episode focused on, how the menu was changed and what the relaunch involved are not described in the sources reviewed, and nothing is added here beyond them. No owner names or budget figures were found. According to Wikipedia's article on the series, the owner's funds were matched up to $20,000 in the early seasons and up to $15,000 later, but no source read gives the amount used for this episode.
On 2026-10-19 a Google Places lookup returned a listing for Brooklyn's Bar & Grill at 4065 Harvester Rd, Burlington, with an operational status, and the business's own page loaded the same day. That page shows no copyright year or other date, so it cannot show how recently its content was written. Poyst's business page for Burlington Bowl lists the same Harvester Road street address and shows customer reviews dated only by relative age, from about eight months to a year old, with no page date; none of those reviews mentions the television episode.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
