What happened after Restaurant Makeover?
Stoney's Bar & Grill, in Toronto, was the fourth episode of Restaurant Makeover's third season and first aired on 2006-10-23. IMDb's page for the episode, listing the air date as October 23, 2006, gives the most detail found. It describes the premise this way: designer Glen Peloso gave owners Nick and Kimberly's tired-looking bar an urban loft look meant to draw in restaurant diners; a person named Igor, whose role the page does not give, dealt with broken tiles and double electrical work; and chefs David Adjey and Alex reworked the pub menu into a chop house menu. Rotten Tomatoes' episode guide describes the same installment as Peloso and Adjey helping Nick turn his bar around. Wikipedia's list of renovated restaurants likewise names Adjey as the chef and Peloso as the designer.
From those sources, the bar's starting point was a worn room with a pub menu, the rescue gave it a loft-style look and swapped pub fare for a chop house menu, and the aim described was to attract the restaurant crowd. The pages read do not say what the budget was, whether the bar was renamed, how the relaunch went, or what the owners reported afterward.
Wikipedia's list of renovated restaurants marks the bar as no longer open without a year or reason; that is a lead from a show list, and no second source was found. A Google Places lookup on 2026-10-19 returned Stoney's Bar and Grill at 1111 Lincoln St in Denver, Colorado, whose website describes a Denver sports bar with a Colorado Springs location; that is a different business and neither its address nor its website was used. Two web searches that day for the Toronto bar, one pairing the name with the show's title and one with the words chop house, returned Denver news pages, a construction-project page for a bread company in Etobicoke and other unrelated results, and no page about the Toronto bar. No street address for the Toronto bar was found, so no map coordinates are recorded.
City of Toronto business licence records list Stoney's Bar and Grill, operated by 899407 Ontario Ltd at 4846 Yonge Street, licensed from 2006-03-07 until the licence was cancelled on 2007-03-01, a few months after the episode aired. According to the same records, the Korean restaurant Leenamjang was licensed at the address from 2007-03-01, and Daldongnae 10 has held an active licence there since 2023-01-11.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
