The restaurant's website, viewed in October 2026, says the business was established in 2012, with its first shop opening near Kensington Market, and lists hot dogs inspired by Coney Island alongside burgers, poutine, sausages, shakes and catering. Its press section shows a You Gotta Eat Here! logo linking to a Food Network Canada episode page. The site shows a 2026 copyright and gives one address, 1507 Avenue Road in North York, open Sunday to Wednesday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Thursday to Saturday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. StreetsOfToronto, in a listing published 2012-10-16, described the shop as on College Street, just north of Kensington Market, and about a week old.
