What Happened to Peroni's Pizzeria After Restaurant Makeover?

Peroni's Pizzeria, placed by the series in Mississauga, Ontario, was the second episode of Restaurant Makeover's third season and first aired on 2006-10-09. The show sent a chef and a designer into one restaurant per episode to rework it on a limited budget. Rotten Tomatoes' episode guide describes this installment in a single line, as a pizzeria getting a new look, and Wikipedia's list of renovated restaurants names Massimo Capra as the chef and Glen Peloso as the designer.

Beyond those two pages, the sources reviewed for this entry say nothing about what the pizzeria looked like before the work, which problems the episode dwelled on, what the new menu or room looked like, whether the staff or owners changed, or how the relaunch went. Two web searches that day, one for the pizzeria's name with the show's title and one for its name with Mississauga and the word address, produced a Canadian Pizza Magazine article about a pizzeria in Nelson, B.C., several pizza restaurant location pages and Lakeshore Road property listings.

The Canadian Pizza Magazine article does not mention the show and concerns a different restaurant. Three of the property listings were opened (280 Lakeshore Road East, 230 Lakeshore Road East and 1865 Lakeshore Road West), and none mentions Peroni's or any pizzeria.
