The 2013-04-12 episode titled 'Via Tevere Pizzeria; The Crepe House; Hilltop Diner' visits a Langley, British Columbia diner serving comfort food that TVmaze's episode listing says dates to the 1940s. The Cascade, the University of the Fraser Valley's student paper, reviewed the diner at 23904 Fraser Highway on 2014-03-10 and reported it had been open for 67 years. The review described an egg sandwich on sourdough with hash browns, burgers and sandwiches, a three-patty Everest burger challenge with bacon, ham, sausage and cheese, and a chocolate banana cream pie, and noted that the diner had been a filming location for more than 20 movies and TV shows. It listed hours of 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. A Google Maps listing retrieved 2026-10-19 marks Hilltop Diner Cafe permanently closed; the listing gives no closing date.
