What happened after You Gotta Eat Here!?
Nuburger, a Winnipeg burger restaurant, appeared in season 4, episode 3 of You Gotta Eat Here!, which aired on 2015-02-13 as "Nuburger, Poutineville, Emma's Country Kitchen." TVmaze's episode summary (read 2026-10-19) says host John Catucci tried a burger called the "shang-awesome" there, and TheTVDB's overview says he came face to plate with the Shang-Awesome. The Forks, in an undated blog post, wrote that Manitoba-born co-founders Marc Priestley and Kyle Matheson opened their first Nuburger in 2011 and linked to the show's Food Network Canada page.
Tripadvisor's Winnipeg page (read 2026-10-19) lists a Nuburger at 472 Stradbrook Avenue as a quick-bites American and Canadian spot, with the newest review visible dated July 2023. The restaurant's website (ilovenuburger.com), read 2026-10-19, links online ordering and gift cards for Stradbrook Avenue, lists a second Winnipeg location on Henderson Highway, and includes image files named with the date 2026-05-15.
