The Manitoban reported on 2014-10-06 that the restaurant, run by Talia Syrie with partner Steve Ackerman, had a new space in the Sherbrook Inn in West Broadway, replacing its previous Main Street location and roughly tripling its seating; the episode aired two years before that move. A Wave blog profile dated 2019-04-17 described it as a comfort-food restaurant blending Israeli and Southern cooking, known for pulled pork and brisket sandwiches.
