What happened after You Gotta Eat Here!?
According to TVmaze, season 1, episode 15 of You Gotta Eat Here!, aired 2012-09-07, included spicy meatballs at JR's in Almonte, Ontario, alongside The Tallest Poppy in Winnipeg and Cardinal Rule in Toronto. No news story, tourism page or business website describing the restaurant was found, so its address rests on a Google Maps listing for JR 'S Restaurant at 385 Ottawa Street, Almonte (K0A 1A0). That listing, checked on 2026-10-19, is marked permanently closed and gives no closure date. Its website field points to moosemcguires.com, which redirects to the site of Moose's Pub, formerly Moose McGuire's; neither moosemcguires.com nor mooses.ca, both viewed in October 2026, mentions Almonte or JR's, so any connection between that pub brand and the address is unconfirmed.
