What happened after You Gotta Eat Here!?
According to TVmaze, season 1, episode 14 of You Gotta Eat Here!, aired 2012-09-07, featured smoked chicken and poutine at Boneheads BBQ in Halifax. The Coast reported on 2010-01-08 that the barbecue restaurant would open the next day at 1014 Barrington Street, with pulled pork a main item. The Coast's later Best Ribs coverage named owner Cindy Wheatley and recorded repeat wins, including gold and a Hall of Fame induction on 2019-11-07. On 2014-01-22 The Coast reported that a second Boneheads location in Fairview had closed while the Barrington Street flagship remained open. The restaurant's website, viewed in October 2026, lists the Barrington Street address, hours of 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM Monday through Thursday, 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM Friday and 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM on weekends, a catering page, and menu files labeled January and June 2025.
