What happened after You Gotta Eat Here!?

Rock Lobster Food Co., chef Matt Dean Pettit's Toronto seafood restaurant, appeared in the April 4, 2014 episode of You Gotta Eat Here! (Food Network Canada), which Rotten Tomatoes' season-three listing describes as featuring lobster dishes. BlogTO's opening-era profile of the Ossington Avenue restaurant, in the former Watusi space, described a lobster-focused menu that included lobster poutine, a lobster roll, a raw bar, and seafood towers, and said the restaurant grew out of an earlier pop-up. The business operated more than one Toronto location. BlogTO reported in February 2016 that the original Ossington Avenue restaurant would close on March 1, 2016, that a Leslieville outpost had closed in 2015, and that Pettit planned a smaller concept called Matty's Seafood Co. In June 2016 BlogTO reported that the last remaining Rock Lobster, on Queen West, was closing and would be replaced by a restaurant and bar called The DIME.
