What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
Saffron Street appeared on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives in the episode "Flavor Explosion," which aired 2023-12-08. Daily Hive, in an article by Charlie Hart published that day, reported that the Indian street food restaurant at 1327 1st Street SW, inside First Street Market in Calgary, was set to be shown in the episode, and listed its menu items as pakoras, kati rolls and samosa chaat, plus thali plates and curries such as butter chicken, prawn vindaloo and paneer makhani. The article did not say which dishes Guy Fieri ate.
The restaurant's own website, as of October 2026, listed hours of noon to 8 p.m. every day and a cart link. At the same time, the First Street Market website listed Saffron Street among its vendors, and Google's listing showed the business as operational.
