What happened after You Gotta Eat Here!?
Tre Sorelle, a family-run Italian cafe and take-out counter in downtown Orillia, Ontario, appeared in the episode "Tre Sorelle, Bistro Dansk, Water Prince" of You Gotta Eat Here! (Food Network Canada), which aired 2012-09-12 according to TheTVDB and TVmaze. TVmaze's episode summary describes old-fashioned Italian classics. A City of Orillia news page about the broadcast lists lasagna, butternut squash ravioli with caramelized onions and pancetta, and stromboli, and names the owners as sisters Gina White and Lisa Particelli. OrilliaMatters reported that the business grew out of homemade pasta sold at the Orillia Farmers' Market.
An OrilliaMatters column dated 2021-12-18 placed the restaurant at 133 Mississaga St. E. and described Italian comfort food such as veal parmigiana and arancini. A separate, undated OrilliaMatters column by Nathan Taylor reported that the sisters planned to wind the restaurant down once a buyer was found.
A Google Maps listing read on 2026-10-19 shows Tre Sorelle at 37 Mississaga St. W. as operational, and the 3BestRated Orillia Italian list, which carries a 2026 badge, includes the name at the same address. A Restaurantji listing checked on 2026-10-19 said that, despite moving further west, Tre Sorelle continues to serve food. According to an undated OrilliaMatters column by Nathan Taylor, the sisters planned to keep operating at 133 Mississaga St. E. until they found a buyer, and the Tre Sorelle name would go with them rather than stay with that location.
