What happened after You Gotta Eat Here!?

Boomers Gourmet Fries in Stratford, Ontario, was one of three stops in the first episode of You Gotta Eat Here! on Flavour Network, which aired 2012-08-18. TVmaze's episode summary lists poutine served as martinis among the dishes, and TheTVDB's entry says host John Catucci tried poutine combinations at the shop. Boomers was a fries-and-poutine business; a Google Maps listing gives its address as 26 Erie Street in Stratford. Since the broadcast, a Google Maps listing checked on 2026-10-19 marks Boomers Gourmet Fries as permanently closed at that address.

That listing carries no closing date, so none is offered here. The sources read for this entry (TVmaze, TheTVDB and the Google Maps listing) include no news story, website or social post from the owners describing what happened to the shop or any later venture of theirs.
