What happened after You Gotta Eat Here!?
John's Place in Victoria, British Columbia, was the third stop in the first episode of You Gotta Eat Here!, which aired on Flavour Network on 2012-08-18. TVmaze's episode summary says the restaurant offered ten varieties of eggs Benedict. John's Place is a breakfast and brunch restaurant at 723 Pandora Avenue; its website describes Canadian comfort food with house-made breads and pies and says the restaurant has served Victoria for over 40 years. The website also says Food Network Canada filmed the show there and names its Southwestern meatloaf, Belgian waffles and eggs Benedict. In October 2026 the same website showed a 2026 copyright line, weekday hours of 7am to 3pm, weekend brunch hours from 8am to 3pm, menu files dated June 2026, and a note reading Voted Best Breakfast / Brunch 2025.
