Burger 55 in Penticton, British Columbia, was featured on the You Gotta Eat Here! episode that aired 2013-05-17. TheTVDB's synopsis says diners build their own burgers from a long list of ingredients, including unusual toppings such as grilled peaches and drunken onions. An undated Penticton Herald profile described the downtown burger bar at 52 Front Street as a retro, flame-broiled operation with about 50 indoor seats and a 24-seat patio, and reported that new owner Ronald Bee took over on May 1. A Castanet forums thread, which shows no post dates, quoted a Castanet.net article saying founder Chris Boehm sold the restaurant in April 2018 to a West Kelowna couple, and the thread carried a Castanet.net headline about the restaurant closing down.
