What happened after You Gotta Eat Here!?
Icehouse, a restaurant at 51 Rue Roy Est on Montreal's Plateau-Mont-Royal, appeared on the You Gotta Eat Here! episode that aired 2013-05-17. TheTVDB's synopsis describes it as a southern-style restaurant known for crispy fried chicken served in a bucket. The review site Tastet reported, on a page updated 2026-04-22, that the restaurant opened in 2011 at the corner of Roy and Saint-Dominique, founded by Nick Hodges and Natalie Doucet, and that since late 2024 it has been run by Zack Cutrona, his father Salvatore Cutrona and Lawrence Picard of Boba Boba.
Tastet describes the food as Tex-Mex with Texan roots and lists fried chicken in a bucket, brisket and pulled-pork sandwiches, ribs and fish tacos. The Main's directory page, last checked 2026-10-19, cites a feature dated 2025-10-29 on the new ownership and describes the restaurant in the present tense.
