Made in Mexico Restaurant and Cantina in Newmarket, Ontario, appeared on the You Gotta Eat Here! episode that aired 2013-05-17, alongside The Early Bird in London and Chafe's Landing in Newfoundland. TheTVDB's synopsis says a viewer recommended its Nachos Rancheros, calling them authentic and easy to get to. The business is a Mexican restaurant whose website refers to its made-in-Mexico menu. The restaurant's own website announces that on 2022-09-18 it moved to 179 Main Street South, right next door to its earlier building, because that building was sold.

The same website, viewed 2026-10-20, offered online ordering, takeout and reservation links, advertised that it was hiring, and listed a second location in Barrie. Google Maps listed the Newmarket restaurant at 179 Main Street South with an operational business status on 2026-10-19.
