Charlie the Butcher was the third stop in the Season 5 episode of You Gotta Eat Here! titled "Low & Slow, Casa Manila, Charlie the Butcher," which aired 2016-03-11. According to TVmaze's episode listing, host John Catucci got a taste of Buffalo's beef on weck while visiting the restaurant. Table Journey's page for Charlie the Butcher's Kitchen, published and marked as checked against the restaurant's own website on 2026-06-04, lists the address as 1065 Wehrle Drive in Williamsville, New York, with the beef on weck and the pulled pork sandwich as signature dishes.

The same page listed hours of 10 am to 8 pm Monday through Saturday and 11 am to 7 pm Sunday, a 4.4-star rating and an American diner cuisine label. The company's own website, whose footer carries a 2015 date, also lists an Express branch in the Ellicott Square Building and a Carvery on Elmwood Avenue.
