What happened after You Gotta Eat Here!?
Prohibition in Montreal appeared in the Season 5 episode of You Gotta Eat Here! titled "Prohibition Montreal, Battista's Calzone Co., Burgers N' Fries Forever," which aired 2016-03-18. According to TVmaze's episode listing, host John Catucci checked out brunch at the Montreal restaurant, then the episode moved on to Battista's Calzone Co. in Edmonton and Burgers 'n' Fries Forever in Ottawa. A Google Places lookup returned a business named Prohibition at 1210 Saint-Catherine Street East, but the website listed for it, prohibitionquebec.com (copyright 2026), describes a counter-culture retail chain selling sunglasses, apparel and accessories and lists that address as its Beaudry store. Because a retail shop does not match a brunch restaurant, that listing was not used. No source read gave the brunch restaurant's address, owner or any dated activity after the 2016 broadcast.
A Google Maps listing checked 2026-10-20 shows Prohibition Bistro on Monkland Avenue in Montreal's Notre-Dame-de-Grâce marked permanently closed; its newest Google reviews are about seven years old.
