What happened after You Gotta Eat Here!?
Garrison House was the third restaurant in the You Gotta Eat Here! episode "La Cubana, The Bull BBQ Pit, Garrison House" (S3E19, Food Network Canada, aired 2014-06-13). TheTVDB's description says host John Catucci sampled an English steak and stout pie; it gives no city for the restaurant. The Niagara-on-the-Lake location comes from a name-only match that has not been confirmed. Food Day Canada's profile of The Garrison House at 111C Garrison Village Drive in Niagara-on-the-Lake calls it one of Niagara's great meeting places with a modern Canadian menu from chef David Watt and partner Leigh Atherton, but the profile does not mention the show or a steak and stout pie. A Wines in Niagara article about the same restaurant also does not mention the show. Google Maps lists The Garrison House at the Garrison Village Drive address, and its website returned an access error when checked on 2026-10-19.
A Google Maps listing checked 2026-10-20 shows The Garrison House at 111C Garrison Village Drive in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, as an operating restaurant, with Google reviews dated 2026-07-29, 2026-05-16, 2026-05-10, 2026-01-23 and 2026-01-04. Food Day Canada's profile, undated apart from a 2026 site footer, says the restaurant opened in 2012, before the episode aired.
