What Happened to Nando's / Forget-Me-Not Guest House?

The first episode of The Hotel Inspector, aired 2005-09-29, was titled "Nandos/Forget-Me-Not Guest House, Stratford" and set in Stratford-upon-Avon. Wikipedia's list of The Hotel Inspector episodes (read 2026-10-19) describes the visit as a six-room B&B whose owners had put their savings into it, faced strong local competition and lacked an RAC diamond rating. Ruth Watson, the programme's presenter, was the inspector.

The list gives no street address, owner surname or later name for the guest house, and none of the search results gathered for this entry covered a guest house by that name in Stratford-upon-Avon. A Google Maps lookup on the episode title returned a Nando's restaurant in Bell Court off the High Street (CV37 6JW); none of the sources read links that restaurant to the guest house, and the Nando's name in the episode title is not explained in them. Nothing read shows what the building is used for today, whether it kept trading under the Forget-Me-Not name, or whether it changed hands after the 2005 broadcast.

A Google Maps listing checked 2026-10-20 shows Linhill Guest House at 18 Evesham Place in Stratford-upon-Avon, the address the Forget-Me-Not Guest House's website gave, with no Google review newer than about three years. The Forget-Me-Not and Linhill websites did not load on 2026-10-20; the Internet Archive's last copies of them date from November 2024 and March 2025.
