What happened after The Hotel Inspector? 2 episodes

Part 1 — Season 1, Episode 3 Aired

Worlington Hall is a hotel, restaurant and bar in the Suffolk village of Worlington, near Bury St Edmunds (IP28 8RX). Wikipedia's list of The Hotel Inspector episodes (read 2026-10-19) describes the series 1 episode, aired 2005-10-13, as a visit to a Grade II-listed, 16th-century hotel run by two sisters that was losing money. Ruth Watson revisited the sisters in a series 2 follow-up episode aired 2006-08-24.

The hall's own website, worlingtonhall.com, was read on 2026-10-19. It describes a hotel, restaurant, bar and wedding venue and lists weekly opening times: bedrooms only on Monday and Tuesday, and the bar and restaurant open Wednesday to Sunday, with the kitchen serving lunch and dinner Wednesday to Saturday and lunch on Sunday. Restaurant tables are booked through OpenTable and rooms through a separate booking page. A Christmas notice names Monday 21st, Tuesday 22nd and Wednesday 30th December as dates, without printing a year. Elsewhere the site says the hall dates from 1570, refers to a restoration, and speaks of weddings from spring 2024. A Google Maps listing checked the same day shows the hall as operational.

The website does not mention the television series and names no owner.

Part 2 — Season 2, Episode 8 Aired

In a follow-up episode titled "Worlington Hall Hotel Revisited", aired 2006-08-24 as part of series 2, Ruth Watson returned to the Suffolk hotel she had visited in series 1. Wikipedia's list of The Hotel Inspector episodes (read 2026-10-19) describes it as a return to the two sisters who ran the hall and gives no further detail on what had changed at the property.
