What happened after The Hotel Inspector?
The Swan at Monks Eleigh, a thatched 16th-century inn in Suffolk, took part in the Hotel Inspector episode first shown on 2026-03-12 (series 21, episode 3). According to TheTVDB's entry, Alex Polizzi travelled to a quiet village to help a couple of pub landlords whose long-held dream of running a pub had turned into a stressful struggle. The entry asks whether she could turn the business into a welcoming country pub.
The inn's own website, titled "Swan Inn Monks Eleigh - Drink and Accommodation", describes a family-owned traditional country pub in the village centre. It lists three recently refurbished letting rooms: a small double, a double that can be set up as a super king or twin, and a family room. It also offers a daily breakfast, real ales, a log burner and inglenook fireplace, a sun terrace overlooking the village green, and a dog-friendly policy.
The site lists opening hours of Thursday to Saturday 2pm to 10pm and Sunday 2pm to 8pm, with Monday to Wednesday marked closed and a note that closing times may vary. Synopsis (tvmaze.com) : Alex Polizzi visits the sleepy Suffolk village of Monks Eleigh, coming to the rescue of publicans Steven and Julie whose lifelong dream of running a village pub is turning into a nightmare. However, after being forced to close the kitchen they're struggling to get people through the doors without a food offering.
