What happened after The Hotel Inspector?

The Castle Inn at Bramber, a hotel and inn in the South Downs, was the subject of the Hotel Inspector episode first shown on 2026-03-26 (series 21, episode 5). According to TheTVDB's entry, Alex Polizzi set out to revive a hotel with 16th-century origins that had fallen into disrepair, with gaudy decor, rooms of inconsistent quality and a dull restaurant.

The hotel's own website, titled "Castle Inn Hotel | Sussex Hotel | South Downs", describes a 20-bedroom hotel in Bramber, West Sussex, within the South Downs National Park. It lists a restaurant, a bar called The Inn, dog-friendly rooms and meeting and function space, and it describes the hotel as accessible. The site carries the line "As seen on The Hotel Inspector!" without naming Polizzi or giving an episode date.

The page's metadata shows it was published on 2026-03-24, two days before the broadcast, and last modified on 2026-10-07. Guest reviews on it are dated February and March 2026, a Christmas 2026 page is linked, and it advertises a three-nights-for-two offer, with rooms bookable through eviivo and tables through SevenRooms. Award images on the page are dated 2024 and 2025. The site does not say who owns the hotel and does not describe any change made during filming.

A Google Maps listing for The Castle Inn Hotel, The Street, Bramber, Steyning BN44 3WE, is marked operational. The sources read for this entry do not report a sale, a change of name or any advice given by Polizzi.
