TVmaze's listing for the episode "Uncle Betty's Diner, The Armview Diner, Pagliacci's" (S1E7, aired 2012-08-25) says host John Catucci ate New York-style cheesecake at Pagliacci's in Victoria, British Columbia. Capital Daily's profile, which is undated but counts forty-seven years, reports that Howie Siegel and Alan Di Fiore opened the restaurant on Broad Street in 1979 using Di Fiore's mother's recipes, that Siegel's son Solomon has run it since 2014, and that it has offered live music most nights along with a Sunday jazz brunch. In October 2026 the site's lunch features page was headed Monday, October 19th 2026 and its brunch page Sunday, October 18th 2026, and the site listed daily hours for lunch, dinner, brunch and live music, plus online ordering.
