What happened after You Gotta Eat Here!?
Ferris' Oyster Bar and Grill was the Victoria stop in the 2015-06-19 episode of You Gotta Eat Here! (season 4, episode 21); TheTVDB's listing describes host John Catucci learning there are several different ways to eat an oyster. The listing does not name the restaurant's city, so the Victoria match rests on the name. According to the restaurant's own story page, Ferris' opened on February 4, 1991, at 536 Yates Street in downtown Victoria, sources Baynes Sound oysters that it shucks to order, and serves smash burgers with Canadian cheddar on brioche.
Tourism Victoria's listing, published 2025-11-09, calls it Ferris' Burger & Oyster Bar and gives the same address. The restaurant's website, last modified 2026-10-19, lists daily hours of 11:30am to 10pm and booking and ordering links. Google Maps data used for this entry lists the restaurant as operational.
