What happened after You Gotta Eat Here!?
Romer's was the Vancouver burger stop in the Season 4 episode of You Gotta Eat Here! titled "Romer's, Mezes Restaurant, Royer's Round Top Cafe," which aired 2015-05-15; TVmaze's summary calls it a burger bar in Vancouver. Daily Hive reported that the crew filmed host John Catucci at the Romer's Burger Bar in Kitsilano on West 4th Avenue, citing posts from November 2014, without naming the burger. Daily Hive reported on 2024-10-22 that the Kitsilano restaurant at 1873 W 4th Avenue would serve its last day on Sunday, October 27, 2024, and that a sign inside thanked the community for its support over the past decade.
The article named the company's other locations as Vancouver, Port Moody and a newly opened Lynn Valley branch. In October 2026 the company's website listed River District (8683 Kerr Street), Lynn Valley, YVR Airport and Victoria locations and did not list a Kitsilano restaurant (romersburgerbar.com).
