What happened after You Gotta Eat Here!?

In the episode 'Shine Café, Banh Mi Boys, Smoke & Spice Southern Barbeque' (aired 2013-03-15), TheTVDB's overview says three brothers update their mother's traditional banh mi sandwiches with fillings such as duck confit. Post City reported on 2014-04-07 that brothers David, Philip and Peter Chau opened the first Banh Mi Boys in 2011, in a former shawarma shop near Queen Street and Spadina Avenue, and that a second location at Yonge and Gerrard followed in 2013. The company's website says Banh Mi Boys first opened in Toronto in 2011 as a small mom-and-pop shop at Queen and Spadina, later built its own commissary kitchen, and refers visitors to its Instagram account for current hours.

A Streets of Toronto listing, described as current through 2024, gives the Queen Street West address as 392 Queen Street West. A Google Places entry for the Yonge Street branch at 329 Yonge Street, read in October 2026, is marked operational.

TableJourney lists Banh Mi Boys at 392 Queen Street West with hours of 11am to 10pm daily, on a page dated 2026-06-08 and marked as checked that day. An undated Atmosfy listing gives the same address, with hours of 11am to 10pm Monday to Friday, 11am to 9pm Saturday and noon to 7pm Sunday.
