'The Bungalow; The Rumpus Room; Big Fish' aired 2013-04-19, and TVmaze's episode listing says host John Catucci samples fresh seafood at Big Fish in Calgary. The restaurant's Renfrew location sits at 1112 Edmonton Trail NE. Visit Marda Loop's blog, dated 2023-03-20, listed Big Fish & Open Range at 2018 33 Avenue SW as the business's new Marda Loop location. In October 2026 the business's own website (bigfishopenrange.ca, with a 2026 copyright line) presented both restaurants under the combined Big Fish & Open Range name, listed Renfrew hours of Monday and Wednesday to Saturday from 11:30 a.m. with Sunday service in two sittings, and linked to reservations, catering and gift cards. A customer comment on the site said Open Range had been folded into Big Fish during the pandemic; the comment carried no date. Google lists the Renfrew restaurant as operational.
