What happened after The F Word: Britain's Best Local Restaurant?

Doukan, a Moroccan restaurant at 350 Old York Road in Wandsworth, lost the heat shown on 2009-12-29 in the episode "Rest of the World" of Britain's Best Local Restaurant on Gordon Ramsay's The F Word (Channel 4), scoring 63 out of 100 against 77 for Retsina, according to Wikipedia. South West Londoner reported on 2014-03-05 that owner Khalil Abdesslem, born in Casablanca, cooks recipes passed down from his mother, that the show chose Doukan from over 10,000 entries as Ramsay's favourite local restaurant, and it highlighted danjal wal falfal, a cold aubergine dip with warm flatbread, Bastilla Fassilla, a filo parcel dusted with cinnamon and filled with diced chicken and almonds, a passionfruit creme brulee and a Sunday buffet brunch. Time Out marks the restaurant as closed in the title of its listing, on a page whose header shows 2015-04-20, though the review text beneath is still written in the present tense. A search run on 2026-10-19 turned up no current website or listing under the Doukan name.
