What happened after You Gotta Eat Here!?
Summit Café in Stony Mountain, Manitoba, was one of three stops in the Season 5 premiere of You Gotta Eat Here!, which aired 2016-02-26 under the title "Kinton Ramen, Summit Café, Kokom's Bannock Shack." TVmaze's episode listing says host John Catucci visited the café after a Toronto ramen restaurant and before a bannock spot in Dryden, Ontario, but the listing does not name the dish he ate. Google Maps lists the business as Summit Cafe Inc at 23 Main Street in Stony Mountain, and that listing, checked 2026-10-19, carries a permanently closed marker. No news article or owner announcement about the closing turned up in a web search, so the date the café stopped operating is unknown, and its founding year and menu could not be confirmed from any source read.
