What happened after The Hotel Inspector?
The Believe Boutique is a six-bedroom hotel with a bar on West Dyke Road in Redcar, run by owner Claire with her sons, who also owns Bar Noir, according to the Yorkshire Post (2023-10-13). TVmaze's listing for the Channel 5 episode (series 18, episode 1, aired 2023-10-10) says Claire was trying to open a bar and hotel and risked losing money before she even opened. The Yorkshire Post reported that she was new to hospitality, had been let down by people she worked with and was struggling before she applied to the program.
The paper reported that Alex Polizzi helped with setting up the laundry, using Booking.com, costing rooms and sourcing supplies. Claire told the paper, “I very much doubt I'd be open now,” without that help. She said the bar and boutique had been decorated and renovations were complete, that she had taken more hotel bookings since the broadcast, and that she planned for her sons to take over the bar while she focused on the boutique, with more events and private parties. Polizzi phoned her after the show, the paper reported.
