What happened after The Hotel Inspector?
Glangrwyney Court is an early nineteenth-century Georgian country house at Glangrwyney, near Crickhowell in the Black Mountains area of Powys, Wales. It was the seventh episode of series 5 of The Hotel Inspector (Channel 5), which aired on 2009-08-17. Wikipedia's episode list describes a hotel with good ratings that was losing money at a rapid rate. Alex Polizzi returned for a follow-up episode aired on 2015-09-08, which Wikipedia describes as a revisit to see how the hotel had fared since her series 5 visit. Neither entry records an outcome.
Parks & Gardens UK, in an entry whose text was written in 2011, describes the house as lying in the Brecon Beacons National Park and says it offered bed and breakfast at the time of writing. The entry gives a website, glancourt.co.uk, which could not be read by automated tools on 2026-10-19, and a telephone number. It does not mention the programme, a sale or a closure.
A Google Maps listing for Glangrwyney Court, Crickhowell NP8 1ES, checked on 2026-10-19, marks the business permanently closed. Because it is a listing, it shows only the status on the day it was read, not when trading stopped. A web search run the same day for the house and its sale or closure returned heritage records and undated accommodation-directory pages, and no dated source showing the house trading more recently than the 2015 follow-up episode.
