Is Hotel Celebrity Still Open? The Hotel Inspector Update

Part 1 — Season 11, Episode 4 Aired April 30, 2015

The Hotel Inspector (Channel 5) featured Hotel Celebrity in Bournemouth in the episode “Hotel Celebrity, Bournemouth,” which aired 2015-04-30. Wikipedia's list of episodes describes a 55-bedroom hotel in which every room is named after a film star or a famous musician. The hotel stands at 47 Gervis Road in Bournemouth's East Cliff area, BH1 3DD, in Dorset.

Since the broadcast, the hotel has kept the celebrity theme. Its own website, whose page metadata showed a modification date of 2026-10-12, describes newly refurbished celebrity-themed bedrooms and lists four room types: standard double, standard triple, superior triple and standard quadruple. The site offers free on-site parking for guests who book direct, welcomes pets, gives check-in at 3:00 PM and check-out at 11:00 AM, and says reception is staffed around the clock. It also displays a Tripadvisor Travelers' Choice 2026 badge, a Booking.com score of 7.5 out of 10 and a Google score of 4.2 out of 5, and its footer carries a 2026 copyright line. The website does not mention the television appearance and does not give a room total.

The booking site lastminute.com lists the property as Hotel Celebrity Bournemouth East Cliff by Villare hotels at the same address, with a Tripadvisor score of 3.9 from 1,840 reviews; the page gives no review dates and does not name an owner or operator. A Google Places entry checked on 2026-10-19 lists the business at 47 Gervis Road as operational. No source read for this entry reports a change of owner, name or concept since the episode.

Part 2 — Season 19, Episode 10 Aired June 6, 2024

Hotel Celebrity Revisit, series 19, episode 10 of The Hotel Inspector (Channel 5), aired 2024-06-06 and returned to Hotel Celebrity in Bournemouth. Wikipedia's list of the show's episodes records the hotel's first appearance in series 11, describing a 55-bedroom hotel whose rooms are named after film stars and musicians, and records this revisit as overall episode 165. The list gives the 2024 revisit a title and air date but no description, and TVmaze and TheTVDB likewise carry no summary for it, so the sources read do not show what the revisit covered.
