What happened after The Hotel Inspector?

Woodlands Lodge Hotel in the New Forest was the eighth episode of series 3 of The Hotel Inspector, which ShowsPlus lists as airing on Channel 5 on 2007-11-22. ShowsPlus described a 16-bedroom country hotel whose restaurant had recently lost its AA rosette, with a new hotel nearby threatening trade and faded decor that the owners wanted help with. Wikipedia's list of The Hotel Inspector episodes gives the location only as the New Forest; a Google Places record and the hotel's website place it on Bartley Road in the village of Woodlands, Hampshire, SO40 7GN.

On 2026-10-19 the hotel's website described a privately owned, family-run country house hotel with 18 rooms and suites, three acres of gardens, a restaurant, and wedding and function facilities. Its navigation linked to Christmas 2026 and Christmas parties 2026 pages, the footer carried a 2026 copyright, and the page metadata showed an update dated 2026-06-16. The website does not mention the television programme or say whether the owners seen in the episode still run the hotel, so no change of ownership is documented in the sources read.

The room count on the website, 18, differs from the 16 bedrooms in the episode description. Review-site logos appear on the page without dates. A Google Places record collected on 2026-10-19 also showed the business as operational. No news report about the hotel since the 2007 broadcast was read.
