What happened after The Hotel Inspector?
St Alfege's, also listed as Number 16 B&B, in Greenwich was the sixth episode of series 3 of The Hotel Inspector. ShowsPlus lists the episode as airing on Channel 5 on 2007-10-27 and describes a three-bedroom bed and breakfast run by a local actor, whose shabby-chic decor had slipped into looking tired and who told host Ruth Watson the place needed a facelift. Wikipedia's list of The Hotel Inspector episodes gives the entry as "St Alfeges / Number 16 B&B", two names for the one episode.
A post on the Greenwich local-interest site greenwich.co.uk dated 2010-02-05 called Number 16 St Alfege Passage a B&B run by a local actor and said the building had earlier been a corner shop. A comment under that post said relatives of the shop's former owner had seen the building on a television programme and got in touch; the comment did not name the programme. The same site's bed-and-breakfast directory lists Number 16 B&B as a boutique-style B&B with character-filled rooms and an availability link, though the listing carries no date.
The travel listing site dnata Travel lists the property as 16 St Alfeges with three rooms, two doubles and a single, which matches the three bedrooms in the episode description; its page also carries no date for the property. A Google Places record lists Number 16 B&B at 16 St Alfege Passage, London SE10 9JS, and showed the business as operational in the data collected on 2026-10-19. No source dated 2026 was read that confirms current bookings, hours or guest reviews.
A Google Maps listing checked 2026-10-20 shows Number 16 B&B at 16 St Alfege Passage in Greenwich with no review newer than about seven years and no website; no other source read shows the B&B taking guests since then.
